NextDoor.Company is a job discovery platform that aggregates and curates job listings from companies in the Indian startup and technology ecosystem. The Service provides users with access to job listings, company profiles, and related career information.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update that information as needed. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.

You may not share your account with others or use another person's account without their permission.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You may not:

• • Use the Service to send unsolicited communications or spam
• • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of NextDoor.Company. Our trademarks, logo, and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

Job listings and company information sourced from third parties remain the property of their respective owners. We make no claim of ownership over third-party content displayed through the Service.

6. Prohibited Copying and Competitive Use

The curated database of company profiles and job listings, the selection, arrangement, and presentation of that content, and the design, structure, and features of the Service are the result of substantial investment by NextDoor.Company and are protected as our intellectual property and proprietary compilation. In addition to the restrictions in the Acceptable Use section above, you specifically agree that you will not:

• • Copy, replicate, mirror, or imitate the Service, its design, its data, or its arrangement of content, in whole or in part, in order to build, train, or operate any product or service that competes with or is substantially similar to the Service
• • Use the Service, or any account on it, to gather competitive intelligence for the purpose of developing a competing product or service
• • Extract, compile, republish, or reuse our curated dataset, or any material part of it, in any other product, database, or service
• • Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notice, or attempt to circumvent any measure we use to protect our content

To detect and prove unauthorised copying, the Service and its data may contain unique identifying markers, traps, and deliberately seeded entries, sometimes known as honeytokens. The presence of any such marker or seeded entry in another product, database, or service is evidence that our content was copied in violation of these Terms.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, to suspend or permanently terminate any account, including a paid or subscription account, that we reasonably believe has violated this section or the Acceptable Use section. Consistent with our No Refund Policy, terminating an account for such a violation does not entitle you to any refund of fees paid, including for any unused portion of a subscription.

Copying, theft, or misuse of our intellectual property may also constitute a civil and criminal offence under applicable law, including the copyright and information technology laws of India. We reserve all rights and remedies available to us, including seeking injunctive relief and monetary damages, recovering our legal costs, and referring the matter to the relevant law enforcement authorities.

7. Accuracy of Information

Job listings and company information on the Service are sourced from publicly available data and company career pages. While we make reasonable efforts to keep this information accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any listing.

We strongly recommend verifying job details directly with the hiring company before applying. NextDoor.Company is not responsible for decisions made on the basis of information displayed on the Service.

8. No Refund Policy

All purchases, subscriptions, or payments made through the Service are final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds, credits, or exchanges for any reason, including but not limited to:

• • Change of mind after purchase
• • Unused portion of a subscription period
• • Dissatisfaction with job listings or search results
• • Technical issues on the user's end

If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at sankalp@nextdoor.company within 7 days of the charge and we will review the case at our discretion.

9. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, including company career pages and job application portals. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NextDoor.Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunity, loss of data, or loss of revenue, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Karnataka, India.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
